For AI assistants

Use Qadir inside Claude or ChatGPT

Add Qadir to your AI assistant, then ask it about prayer times, masjids, halal food and khutbahs. It answers from the same data as this site and links to the page each answer came from.

The address to add:

https://qadir.com/mcp

There is no account and no sign-in. Qadir only reads its own public pages. It never sees your chat, only the question your assistant sends it, such as a city name.

Claude

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Qadir and paste the address above.
  4. For sign-in, choose No sign-in, then Add.
  5. In a chat, open the + menu, choose Connectors and turn Qadir on.

Every plan can do this. The Free plan allows one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds it first under Organization settings, then Connectors. Anthropic's help page has more.

ChatGPT

  1. On ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins.
  2. Choose the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
  3. Name it Qadir and enter the address above under Connection.
  4. Choose no authentication, read the warning and confirm it, then choose Create as a plugin.
  5. Install the plugin. In a chat, type @ and pick Qadir.

Whether you can add a custom server depends on your ChatGPT plan and your workspace's settings. OpenAI's help page has the details.

Claude Code

Things to ask

  • What are the iqamah times at masjids in Irvine today?
  • When is Jumu'ah in Dearborn this Friday?
  • Which halal places near Plano, Texas are open right now?
  • Which Popeyes locations are halal?
  • When do suhoor and iftar start in Houston during Ramadan 2027?

What it can look up

  • Find a city. Cities, counties and metros on Qadir that match a name, with how many masjids and halal places each has.
  • Prayer times. The five daily prayer times and sunrise for a city on a date (today by default, in the city's time zone).
  • Jumu'ah times. Friday prayer (Jumu'ah) times at the masjids in a city this week, earliest first.
  • Iqamah times. Today's iqamah (congregation) times at the masjids in a city, from each masjid's own posted board, with the date the board was read. Masjids without a current board are counted, never estimated.
  • Masjids. Masjids (mosques) in a city, county or metro, with addresses and Friday times where known.
  • Halal food. Halal restaurants, markets and butchers in a city, strongest halal evidence first, with today's hours and whether each is open now.
  • Is a chain halal? Whether a restaurant chain serves halal food: how many of its locations are listed and the halal evidence at each one.
  • Khutbahs. Recent Friday khutbahs (sermons) from masjids in the US, Canada and Mexico, newest first, optionally on a topic or from a city.
  • Ramadan 2027 timetable. Suhoor end (Fajr) and iftar (Maghrib) times for every day of Ramadan 2027 (expected February 8 to March 8, 2027) in a city.

Answers carry the same limits as the site, so check iqamah and halal status with the masjid or restaurant. See the disclaimers. Setup steps checked Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
