Before you rely on Qadir

Prayer times
Adhan times are calculated for the center of each city with the ISNA method and the standard Asr. Other methods can differ by several minutes. The iqamah your masjid posts is the time to follow.
Iqamah and Jumu'ah times
These times come from each masjid's own board, site or schedule. A board read before the last clock change, or with a time that does not fit the day, is left off. Masjids change their times, so check with yours before you go.
Islamic dates
Dates follow the Umm al-Qura calendar. Your masjid may start a month a day early or late, based on its own moon sighting.
Halal food
Qadir does not certify food. A listing shows the evidence for it: the owner's own words, a certifier, or community reports. Chains vary by location. Ask the restaurant before you order.
Khutbahs
Headlines and summaries are written from each recording. Quotes are the khateeb's words as heard in the recording, so small wording errors are possible. The recording is the source, and every khutbah links to it.
Events
Events come from each masjid's own page. Plans change, so check with the masjid before you go.
Zakat calculator
The calculator follows widely held contemporary guidance and the common 85 g gold or 595 g silver nisab. Schools of law differ on details: jewelry in use, long-term investments, locked retirement funds. For anything consequential, confirm with a knowledgeable scholar you trust.
Halal stocks and ETFs
Stock and fund screens are education, not investment advice or a fatwa. Screening standards differ between scholars and index providers, and ratios move with every filing and market day. Each record shows which numbers were used and when they were true.
