For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us to thank Allah for our faith, health, and families, and to be mindful of Him wherever we are. He explained that each of us represents Islam through our honesty, kindness, and everyday behavior. Encouraging good includes feeding people in need, helping orphans, and standing against injustice. When we share Islam, we should learn what we are talking about and invite people without turning the conversation into an argument. He also reminded us that praying for family, sharing beneficial knowledge, and giving ongoing charity can leave goodness behind after our lives end.
