For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Allah gives us guidance through the Quran and asks us to stay within His boundaries. We should remember Him not only when life is difficult, but also when work, money, and family are going well. We cannot always see why a du'a is answered in one way or another, so we should trust Allah’s wisdom and keep praying. Hardship and blessings can both test our faith, and patience helps us remain steady in prayer and obedience. We can also support our masjid and bring our children to weekend school.

  1. When is it hardest to remember Allah, and what reminder could help you?
  2. How can a blessing like money, free time, or a good day become a test?
  3. What could patience look like for you this week?
