For the dinner table
The khateeb reminded us to live with awareness of Allah as Rajab leads into Sha’ban and Ramadan. He explained that preparing for Ramadan takes time, just as preparing for a big celebration does, and encouraged us to begin now. He spoke about the Prophet’s frequent fasting in Sha’ban and urged us to seek Allah’s forgiveness without delay. He also encouraged people of every age to ask Allah for a good ending and for hearts that stay firm in faith. As a family, we can support one another in remembering Allah, doing good regularly, and being sincere even when we are alone.
- The khateeb said we talk about what we love; what helps you remember Allah during your day?
- What could help you do the right thing when nobody is watching?
