Happiness comes from closeness to Allah
“True happiness is found in actualizing the purpose for why we were created.”

True happiness comes from connection to Allah, and sadness and depression have identifiable spiritual causes, detachment from the Creator, over-attachment to dunya, dwelling on the past, anxiety about the future, habitual sin, and comparing oneself to others, each with a scriptural remedy.
