For the dinner table

Allah has already given us dignity, so our worth does not come from money, titles, appearance, or other people's approval. The khutbah teaches that hidden beliefs quietly shape our choices, while our repeated choices and environments can shape our beliefs in return. We should honestly examine what is driving us, welcome sincere questions, and help young people feel safe bringing those questions to trusted believers. The goal is to leave autopilot and build a heart oriented toward Allah's pleasure rather than status or wealth. We ask Allah to purify our hearts, guide our families, and keep our community supportive in truth and patience.

  2. What question about faith would you like a safe person to explore with you?
  3. How might Allah's pleasure change the way you think about success this week?
