For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that Allah created everything and deserves our worship, praise, and obedience. We can seek His mercy by sincerely repenting, avoiding major sins, making istighfar, doing good deeds, and staying patient and grateful. Allah’s mercy should also make us merciful toward people who are struggling. We should support those in need through charity, kind words, practical help, and dua, including the people of Gaza. We ended by asking Allah for forgiveness, peace, healing, and relief for the oppressed.
