For the dinner table

The khateeb shared the sadness of two deaths in his family and reminded us that waking up for another Jumu'ah is a gift from Allah. He invited everyone to pause, breathe, and feel grateful for another chance to know Allah and return to Him. His central message was that every day belongs to Allah, even when the world feels frightening or unfair. Through stories of believers facing hardship, he encouraged us to meet difficulty with faith, courage, and perseverance. He also reminded us to speak against injustice even when it comes from our own country or people. He ended by encouraging us to use the breath we have with gratitude and courage, trusting Allah for strength.
