Allah has given every person an amanah, or trust, along with the mind and ability to fulfill it. The khutbah teaches that prayer, honesty, avoiding harm, helping others, and caring for the world are part of that trust. We may fail, but believers should repent sincerely and keep striving to become better. Islam honors human beings by showing us how to rise through obedience instead of choosing the lowest path.
