Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that a masjid grows from the inside: adults learn, children are nurtured, and families make worship and knowledge part of daily life. He urged parents to align the home with the masjid so children develop a strong Muslim identity, not just academic or extracurricular success. He warned us not to postpone religious learning or service because none of us knows how much time remains. Everyone can strengthen the community by attending, learning, bringing children, and supporting the masjid’s leaders and programs. As he steps down as imam, he asked the community to keep building together and support whoever leads next.
