For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that Ramadan showed us what we are capable of becoming. We should carry its prayer, Quran, charity, remembrance, and self-control into the rest of the year. Since we are not promised another Ramadan, we should ask Allah to keep our hearts firm and prepare to meet Him. Our love for Allah and His Messenger should guide us when desires or friendships pull us away. When we recognize our mistakes and sincerely regret them, returning to Allah is itself a form of repentance.

  2. Who helps you make good choices?
  3. What does it mean to love Allah more than a temptation?
