Failure can become a path to success

For the dinner table

The khutbah says failure is part of every life, but a setback does not make someone a failure. The Prophet’s example and the story of Adam and his wife show that mistakes can teach us what to do differently. We may not be responsible for every bad outcome, but we are responsible for how we recover. We should learn the lesson, avoid repeating the same mistake, trust Allah’s decree, and take the next step instead of living in the past.

  1. What is one mistake that taught you something useful?
  2. What can we do when one plan fails and another opportunity opens?
  3. How can we learn from the past without getting stuck there?
