The khateeb reminded us that worship continues after Ramadan, and encouraged us to keep doing good deeds and avoid returning to sins. If Ramadan went well, we should thank Allah for helping us and ask Him to accept our efforts. If we fell short, we should turn back to Allah in sincere repentance and never lose hope in His mercy. Our good deeds matter, but entering Paradise depends on Allah’s mercy. He also encouraged gratitude for faith and security, and mentioned fasting six days of Shawwal as a way to follow Ramadan with more good deeds.
