Today's khutbah reminded us that our feelings matter and can affect our worship and how we treat others. Feeling happy after doing good, or feeling regret after a mistake, can help us grow when we respond constructively. The khateeb described how the Prophet noticed people's worries and responded with care. He encouraged us to acknowledge difficult feelings, turn to Allah in prayer and dua, and talk with people we trust. He also urged us to begin the day with gratitude, Fajr, and simple remembrance of Allah.
