For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah encouraged us to grow stronger in faith and in the abilities we can use to serve others, including caring for our physical fitness. The khateeb reminded us to pursue what benefits us, ask Allah for help, and keep trying when things are difficult. When we have given an honest effort and the outcome is disappointing, we can accept Allah’s decree instead of getting trapped in regret. He emphasized sincere intentions and effort, reminding us that small, consistent deeds matter. We can begin again today through a little good deed, an apology to someone we love, or a step closer to Allah.
