The khateeb reminded us that learning is a gift from Allah, whether we are students, teachers, or parents. He encouraged us to give learning our religion an important place in our lives so we can understand how to worship Allah. Knowing facts is only part of learning; we also need understanding that helps us put those lessons into practice. He urged us to ask Allah for beneficial knowledge and explained that seeking it can make our path to Jannah easier. He also reminded us that people with knowledge still make mistakes, and that understanding Allah’s forgiveness and mercy should help us turn back to Him.
