For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that our hearing, sight, understanding, and every other blessing come from Allah and should lead us to gratitude. The khateeb encouraged us to examine our hearts by looking honestly at our prayers, our connection with the Quran, and how we use our time. He explained that a healthy heart listens to Allah’s guidance, remembers the Hereafter, and does not become completely absorbed in worldly success. We will still make mistakes, but we should quickly return to Allah with repentance, prayer, and good deeds. Regular remembrance of Allah helps the heart become peaceful and prepares us for a good return to Him.
