For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah taught that iman is Allah’s greatest gift and must be protected through belief, obedience, and sincere repentance. The khateeb used Asiya, Yusuf, Sumayya, and Bilal to show that believers should not trade their faith for comfort, safety, or approval. He warned against shirk, mocking or rejecting revelation, abandoning obligatory prayer, and turning away from Islam. He urged families to teach children about religious boundaries while still showing neighbors kindness through good manners and practical care. We were encouraged to remember death, ask Allah to strengthen our hearts, and join beneficial family and youth gatherings.
