For the dinner table

Today we celebrated Zayd completing the memorization of the Qur'an, while remembering that his achievement was supported by teachers, parents, family, friends, and staff. The sermon praised obedience and submission, using Ibrahim as an example of trusting Allah when a command is difficult. Finishing memorization is not the end; it begins a lifelong responsibility to recite regularly and keep the Qur'an fresh. The Qur'an should shape our character and quietly inspire others. Every family member and helper who makes this journey possible shares in its honor, so we should encourage and support those who memorize.

  1. What is one way our family can help someone keep the Qur'an fresh each day?
  2. Which quality from Zayd's example would you like to practice this week, and how?
  3. How can the Qur'an shape the way we treat other people?
