For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that taqwa means fearing Allah, turning away from evil, following revelation, and being grateful for every blessing. The story of Adam teaches that people make mistakes, but we need Allah’s mercy and should return to Him through repentance. Life will bring tests, and patience and consistency help us stay connected to our faith. Allah can bring help and comfort from places we do not expect when we turn to Him. Because this life is temporary, our real task is to live by our deen and prepare for the next life.
