For the dinner table

We cannot control everything that will happen, and only Allah knows the unseen. The khutbah teaches us to make sensible plans, work hard, and then trust Allah with the results. Life will include tests, loss, and uncertainty, but prayer, especially prostration, brings us closer to Allah and gives the heart comfort. When we are worried, we should bring our concerns directly to Allah and ask for help.

  1. What is something you can plan for while still leaving the outcome to Allah?
  2. When do you feel most peaceful during prayer?
  3. What worry could you bring to Allah in sujood this week?
