For the dinner table

Allah gives us many blessings, and one of the greatest is the ability to worship Him. The khateeb reminded us that Ramadan is a special gift filled with forgiveness, night worship, and the incomparable opportunity of Laylat al-Qadr. Because important opportunities require preparation, we should begin now by planning our goals, fasting Mondays and Thursdays, reading more Quran, and practicing generosity. We can also serve the masjid and support people in need, including displaced families. May our families enter Ramadan ready to benefit from it and help one another do so.
