Quran memorization is the first step
“The first step in understanding and internalizing the Quran is to memorize its content.”
Completing Qur'an memorization is not merely a personal achievement but a communal and civilizational responsibility to honor, internalize, and embody Allah's guidance.

For the dinner table
Today we celebrated Maryam Mahmood completing the memorization of the Qur'an. The speaker reminded us that memorizing is a beginning: the Qur'an should be understood, lived, and carried into every part of life. He said people who study and teach the Qur'an deserve great honor because they can help shape families and society. He also thanked the many relatives, teachers, and staff whose support made this achievement possible. We can all help by staying connected to the Qur'an and supporting those who learn it.
- How could Qur'anic guidance change something you study or do every day?
- Who has helped you learn something important, and how could you thank them?
- What would it look like to keep the Qur'an in your heart, not only on a shelf?
