Beneficial knowledge must lead to action
“He who treads the path in search of knowledge, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala would make that path easy, leading to paradise for him.”
Beneficial knowledge, pursued sincerely and acted upon, is essential for correct worship, personal humility, community uplift, and salvation.
The khutbah in 6 steps

In the khateeb's words
“He who treads the path in search of knowledge, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala would make that path easy, leading to paradise for him.”
“True grasps of knowledge, it manifests itself naturally into good actions and compassionate conduct.”
“And in an era where we see information flowing freely and often falsely, it's essential for us to verify the authenticity of what we learn.”
For the dinner table
Today's khutbah reminded us that learning about Allah, the Qur'an, and the Sunnah helps us understand how to worship Him and live well. We should learn with sincere intentions, hoping to grow closer to Allah and put what we learn into practice. Knowledge should help us become more humble, honest, patient, and compassionate. The khateeb also encouraged learning useful worldly subjects so we can serve people and strengthen our communities. He reminded us to check that what we learn comes from trustworthy sources before sharing it, and he asked Allah to give us beneficial knowledge and help us act on it.
