For the dinner table

Ramadan has passed quickly, but the khateeb reminded us that worship and good manners belong in every season of life. He encouraged us to keep building on our prayers, charity, kindness, and other good deeds. He asked us to thank Allah for allowing us to complete Ramadan and to seek His acceptance and forgiveness for our shortcomings. He also encouraged fasting six days of Shawwal after completing Ramadan’s fasting, explaining that those days may be together or spread throughout the month. Above all, he urged us to keep reading the Qur’an, reflecting on it, and following its guidance in our daily lives.
