For the dinner table

The khateeb spoke about our desire for value, happiness, and success, and connected true success to faith and our relationship with Allah. He compared this life to a farm where we plant good deeds and harvest their results in the next life. He encouraged us to follow Allah’s guidance, remember Him in our choices, and work against habits that pull us away from Him. He also asked us to care for our hearts, seek knowledge and guidance from a teacher, and notice Allah’s blessings. Eid, he reminded us, is a time to celebrate Allah’s mercy and share joy through kindness, giving, smiles, and salam.
