Faith grows through obedience and renewal
“Faith does not remain at the same level.”
Faith brings spiritual sweetness, stability, and light; it grows through obedience and must be continually renewed through worship, repentance, Quran, good deeds, and righteous companionship.

- Closes by recalling the Companions’ practice of strengthening faith together, followed by supplication and prayer.
In the khateeb's words
“Faith does not remain at the same level It increases, it decreases, it gets bigger and it gets weaker”
“The more we know Allah And understand Allah The stronger our faith becomes”
For the dinner table
The khutbah taught that faith is not just an idea; it brings sweetness, peace, and light to the heart. Faith grows through obedience and good character, but sins and neglect can cover it like clouds or rust. We can renew it by asking Allah for help, keeping our obligatory worship, remembering Him, repenting, reading and living by the Quran, learning about Him, and doing good to others. The speaker also encouraged good friends, family ties, honoring parents, and kindness. Our family can keep faith alive by checking our hearts and helping one another return to Allah.
- What helps your heart feel peaceful and connected to Allah?
- How can we encourage one another toward good without judging?
