For the dinner table

Ramadan is a gift from Allah and an invitation to use our time well. Our choices, especially how we worship, can help us become successful and valuable, so we should focus on Allah’s words rather than only beautiful voices, food, or celebration. We should prepare our hearts by working against jealousy, hatred, ego, selfishness, and carelessness so we can receive Allah’s mercy and seek forgiveness. As a family, we can set Ramadan goals, choose pleasing actions, avoid displeasing ones, and make more room for Quran and prayer.

  1. What is one Ramadan goal that would help you use your time well?
  2. Which heart habit would you like Allah to help you improve this Ramadan?
  3. How can our family make more room for Quran and prayer?
