For the dinner table

Our hearts matter deeply to Allah, and having a sound heart is more important than looking religious or successful on the outside. The khutbah reminded us that even strong believers should ask Allah to keep their hearts steady. Sins can gradually darken the heart, but the cure includes Quran, prayer, good deeds, and honest self-examination. When we make a mistake, we should turn back quickly and follow it with a good deed or charity. We should ask Allah to forgive us and help our hearts remain sincere.
