Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that loss and disappointment do not mean Allah has abandoned us. Through Surah Al-Duha and examples from the Prophet’s life, the khateeb described how Allah’s care can be present even when we cannot see how things will unfold. He explained how the Prophet’s experiences helped develop compassion, patience, and trustworthiness. He encouraged us to stop comparing ourselves with others, notice our blessings, and look for ways to grow through challenges. We can do our part, trust Allah with the outcome, and ask Him to fill our hearts with hope.
