Today’s khutbah invited us to recognize Allah’s majesty by paying attention to His creation. The khateeb described a Muslim madrasa where students learned religious subjects alongside mathematics, astronomy, and other sciences. He encouraged us to reflect on the order of the universe and our ability to understand it as signs of Allah’s wisdom. He especially urged young people to approach their studies with an intention to strengthen their faith and appreciate Allah’s signs. He also reminded us that knowledge we share and places we help build can continue benefiting others after we are gone.
