Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Taqwa means living with awareness of Allah, as though each step must be taken carefully. It should guide us not only in the masjid, but also at home, at work, and with strangers. The khutbah encourages us to speak truthfully and kindly, help others according to our ability, control anger, and forgive everyday hurts. When we sin, we should remember Allah, seek forgiveness, and sincerely try not to return to the sin. These qualities help us become among the muttaqun and prepare us for Allah’s forgiveness and Paradise.
