For the dinner table

Ramadan is more than fasting during the day and attending Taraweeh at night; it is meant to change how we live. The khateeb encouraged us to share meals, welcome others, and show compassion beyond our immediate families and familiar communities. Our iftars and suhoors should be sincere, modest, prayerful, and free from waste or inappropriate behavior. We should protect time for qiyam, tahajjud, suhoor, and supplication, especially in the last part of the night. If we use Ramadan intentionally, it can become a month of real reformation and lasting change.

  1. How could our family share food or welcome someone this Ramadan?
  2. What helps us make Ramadan gatherings more peaceful and worshipful?
  3. When could we make extra time for prayer or dua?
