For the dinner table

Mufti Bilal reminded us that the last ten nights of Ramadan are precious opportunities to draw closer to Allah. He explained that the worship we have practiced earlier in the month helps prepare us to give these nights greater attention and effort. He described how the Prophet increased his worship and woke his family to share in these nights. His practical advice included avoiding sins and unnecessary conversation, spending time in the masjid, reading more Quran, praying, asking forgiveness, and giving charity according to our ability. He also encouraged us to ask Allah to accept our efforts, help us remain steady in faith after Ramadan, and bring goodness to the whole ummah.
