For the dinner table

The khateeb used the start of the calendar year to remind us that our time is precious and that we cannot get it back. He encouraged us to live Islam throughout the day, including in ordinary routines like going to sleep. He reminded us to be grateful for our faith, ask Allah to keep us firm, and have hope for others without looking down on them. He emphasized taking prayer seriously and learning the basics we need to worship and handle everyday responsibilities. As a family, we can reflect on each day, notice what distracts us from Allah, and take practical steps toward doing good while planning for the future.
