For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that children are deeply loved by their parents and have an important future in the Muslim community. Young people should hold onto the Quran and Sunnah, be proud of their Islam, and treat their parents with kindness and obedience. They should use their youth, health, wealth, and free time wisely instead of letting phones, gaming, bad friends, smoking, or harmful relationships control them. The imam especially emphasized praying the five daily prayers on time, because prayer shapes the rest of a person’s deeds. Parents should guide their children with love, supervision, and dua.
