For the dinner table

Today's khutbah reminded us that when life feels impossible, we can still turn to Allah. The khateeb told the story of Musa and the believers, who faced the sea ahead of them and Pharaoh's army behind them. Musa trusted Allah before anything changed, and Allah opened a path through the sea. Our own challenges may involve school, family, money, or sickness, and the khateeb encouraged us to ask Allah for help while continuing to strive. Allah is never too busy to hear us, and we can ask Him for guidance, forgiveness, and hearts that stay firm through hardship.

  1. What is one challenge that feels like a big sea to cross right now?
  2. What would you like to ask Allah for help with tonight?
  3. How could our family help someone keep going through a difficult time this week?
