Today's khutbah reminded us to put our love for Allah first, ahead of worldly attachments that can take over our hearts. The khateeb explained that the company we keep influences our habits, using the example of a pleasant fragrance rubbing off on those nearby. He encouraged us to strengthen our love for Allah through remembrance, Quran, dua, and obedience, including praying on time. Everyday moments, like riding in the car, can become opportunities to remember and praise Allah. He also reminded young people that they have an important place in the community and will help guide the generations after them.
