For the dinner table

Allah knows that people are weak and tempted, so the goal is not to pretend we never fail. The sermon says real repentance means feeling remorse, asking Allah's forgiveness, and taking actions that repair the harm, such as apologizing and serving the people we have hurt. The stories of Abu Hudhayfa and Ikrimah show that a mistake or a late start does not have to define a person's future. We should not shame people who fall; we should help them return and change. Allah's generosity keeps the door of repentance open, and one person's sincere change can benefit a whole family and community.

  1. When have you seen someone turn a mistake into a chance to grow?
  2. What is one small action that could show sincere repentance this week?
  3. How can our family help someone who is trying to change?
