For the dinner table

Children teach us more than we often realize. Their persistence, honesty, readiness to forgive, ability to adapt, and delight in smiling can remind adults of qualities Allah loves. The khutbah encourages us to set clear goals for worship and family life, learn from mistakes through sincere repentance, and build emotionally deep relationships with our children. We should adjust as our children and circumstances change while holding firmly to our principles, and bring more warmth and smiles into our homes and communities. It closed with prayers for the community and for people suffering around the world, including Palestine and Gaza.
