For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that Ramadan is a special month when the Quran was revealed and fasting is required. We should use it for prayer, Tarawih, remembrance of Allah, sincere repentance, and good character. Life is temporary, while the Hereafter lasts forever, so our actions now are like the work we submit before an exam. We should also care for our mosque community by respecting volunteers, helping where we can, and giving generously. Finally, we should remember people who have died, those who are sick, those seeking work, and anyone facing hardship in our duas.
