The khateeb explained that mourning Imam Hussain and remembering Karbala are practices taught and modeled by the Ahlul Bayt, not merely community customs. He said majalis also help us learn the Quran, prophetic history, moral conduct, family responsibilities, and issues facing the community. Families should invite children into azadari with love, understanding, and purpose so they can carry it forward. After listening, we should write down what we learned, share it, and respectfully ask scholars for explanations and references when something is unclear.
