For the dinner table

Ramadan is a special gift from Allah, and we should welcome it by preparing our homes and hearts. The khateeb reminded us that Ramadan is about more than food, clothes, decorations, or screens; it calls us to Quran, prayer, remembrance, patience, mercy, and forgiveness. True fasting also means leaving lies, backbiting, falsehood, harmful arguments, and other wrongdoing while repairing family ties. The sermon explained that fasting is a shield and that stronger faith reduces Shaytan’s influence. We should reconnect with the Quran, apply its guidance every day, and seek Allah’s reward with sincere faith.
