For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Shaytan tries to pull us away from Allah through small steps, delayed good deeds, wasted time, pride, and family arguments. The imam encouraged us to follow Allah’s guidance even when it is difficult and to do good when we have the chance. He reminded us that our obligations come first and that worship should make us humble. As a family, we can remember Allah, protect our prayers, forgive one another, and keep good company. Most of all, we should keep hope: Shaytan’s power is limited, and we can turn back to Allah and ask for help.
