For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that Ramadan should leave us renewed, not carrying the same old baggage. We should seek Allah's forgiveness quickly, keep giving charity, and make a realistic plan to stay connected to the Quran throughout the year. Studying the Quran, improving recitation, and learning about Prophet Muhammad's life can keep faith alive after Eid. Tests and mistakes will come, but they should send us back to Allah rather than make us give up. Families and communities can protect the yarn of faith by preserving prayer, mercy, generosity, harmony, and shared learning.
