For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that the Quran is a lasting miracle and that the Prophet Muhammad’s life and teachings have been carefully passed down. We were encouraged to learn more Arabic and Quran, respect the Quran, and receive religious knowledge through trustworthy teachers. The sermon also highlighted how the Prophet transformed the Sahabah and how his example continues through the ummah. Families should keep learning about him beyond the month of remembrance and teach children the Quran, good manners, and love for the Prophet and his household. We can turn that love into a lifelong habit of reading, studying, and sharing what we learn.

  1. What is one Quran habit our family could start this week?
  2. Who is a teacher we trust, and what would we like to learn from them?
