Taqwa means living by Quran and Sunnah

MCC · Abdullahi

“They give in the difficult time and the ease time both.”

The khateeb, at 7:19

The Quran and authentic Sunnah must govern believers’ lives, producing taqwa through generosity, self-control, forgiveness, humility, and purified hearts before death makes repentance too late.

For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that the Quran and the Prophet’s Sunnah are meant to guide our whole lives. Taqwa shows up in generosity during both ease and hardship, controlling anger, forgiving people, and doing good with awareness that Allah sees us. Our blessings, wealth, family, knowledge, and strength, are trusts to use for the Hereafter and share with others. We should turn back to Allah now, purify our hearts from envy, arrogance, and attachment to worldly status, and not wait until it is too late.
