Parents build faith by example

“My beloved son, my beloved daughter, Allah can see you.”

The khateeb, at 16:54

In one sentence

Parents must build their children's faith through home example, awareness of Allah, clear moral priorities, concern for others, and continual dua as children return to school.

The khutbah in 5 steps

  1. Parents are accountable for protecting family faith and must begin by modeling it at home.
  2. Teach children that Allah sees them, while providing appropriate parental guidance and oversight.
  3. Prioritize prayer, character, honesty, and religious values over grades, cheating, or social approval.
  4. Teach children to include isolated classmates, oppose bullying, and support others.
  5. Entrust children to Allah through dua, never curse them, and seek help for doubts or mental-health struggles.
