Quotes
In the khateeb's words
Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
Life is temporary, and every day we wake up is a gift from Allah. The khateeb asks us to remember death and the Day of Resurrection without becoming hopeless. We should review how we are treating Allah, our families, our communities, and other people. When we do good, we should be grateful; when we fall short, we should repent and try again. The goal is to keep growing toward ihsan, even when improvement is difficult.
- What is one good habit you could begin tomorrow?
- How can we show gratitude to Allah this week?
- What does trying your best look like when something is difficult?
